Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This Policy explains how we process the personal data of users of damira.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data is DAMIRA Sp. z o.o., ul. Aleja Solidarności 117/207, 00-140 Warszawa, Poland, NIP / REGON / KRS — do uzupełnienia, e-mail: biuro@damira.com. For all matters regarding personal data, contact us at biuro@damira.com.
2. Data Protection Officer
The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For any data-protection matter, please use the contact address above.
3. What data we process and its source
We process data you voluntarily provide in the quote request form: name (or company name), e-mail address, phone number, company name and the message content. Our server and hosting provider also record technical data related to your use of the site (IP address, browser type and version, date and time of the request) in system logs. If you consent to analytics cookies, Google Analytics additionally collects pseudonymous usage data (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) — see section 5.
4. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to a quote request and conducting business correspondence | Art. 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering a contract) and (f) |
| Our legitimate interest: replying to someone who contacted us, marketing our own products, establishing and pursuing claims | Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Ensuring the security and correct operation of the site (technical logs) | Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Traffic and usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 (only if you consent) | Art. 6(1)(a) (consent) |
| Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax, accounting) where cooperation begins | Art. 6(1)(c) |
5. Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are blocked by default (Google Consent Mode) and load only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. We do not use these data for advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 10 and the Cookie Policy).
6. Whether providing data is required
Providing data in the form is voluntary but necessary for us to respond to your inquiry. Accepting analytics cookies is entirely optional; refusing them has no effect on your use of the site.
7. Retention period
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle the matter and conduct correspondence, then for the period in which claims may be pursued (generally up to 6 years) or until you effectively object. Technical logs are kept only as long as necessary for security, no longer than 12 months. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings (by default up to 14 months).
8. Recipients and processors
Data may be entrusted to trusted processors acting on our behalf, in particular:
- hosting and e-mail provider — Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus;
- analytics provider (only if you consent) — Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC (Google Analytics 4).
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
9. Transfers outside the EEA
If you consent to Google Analytics, your data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). Apart from this, we do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.
10. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data and obtain a copy, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and — where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics) — to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).
11. Automated decisions and profiling
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing and we do not profile users.
12. Cookies
The use of cookies is described in a separate Cookie Policy.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page.
